TUSCALOOSA CITY SCHOOLS STUDENTS STILL ADJUSTING TO ONLINE LEARNING

Tuscaloosa City Schools students are still adjusting to online learning, and Superintendent Mike Daria says it’s important for students to let their teachers know if they’re having issues.

“Our teachers are skilled in adjusting strategy,” Daria said. “They do that every day. They make a million decisions a day in their classroom and this new distance learning environment, it’s the same thing.”

Teachers are doing their best with the new learning system, too, Daria said, because they’re used to changing things up.

“They do that every day in this profession, and now more than ever those adjustments are important because it’s so important to keep our students engaged,” he said.
