TUSCALOOSA, ALA. (WVUA) – Two Tuscaloosa County High School basketball players were selected for the AHSAA 2020 Elite 100 event.

Bryson Hall and Devin Collins are both juniors at TCHS. Collins is a 5 feet 11 inch, 151-pound guard while Hall is a 6 feet 5 inch, 246-pound forward.

Hall and Collins will participate in the one-day event showcasing their talents to college recruiters against the top competition across the state. The Elite 100 event is scheduled for June 22 at Hoover High School.

Tuscaloosa County High finished the season 16-14 and will have both players back on the roster next year.

“We’re excited to have Bryson Hall and Devin Collins represent our basketball team and our school,” said TCHS basketball head coach Curt Weeks. “They are both great kids, first and foremost, and tremendous ambassadors for our school.”

Both have improved greatly since they arrived, Weeks said, and it’s time for them to take the next step.

“Toughness is hard to find and teach, and I’m looking forward to seeing them bring a level of toughness to our team this year,” Weeks said.
