TALKS OF NEW DEVELOPMENTS COMING TO DISTRICT 6 IN TUSCALOOSA

There have been concerns and questions about the lack of businesses in Cottondale, along Buttermilk Road.

“The city works with the Chamber Of Commerce to encourage business growth and development in all areas of the city” says District 6 Tuscaloosa City Councilman Eddie Pugh.

Pugh says there are two subjects being talked about coming to Buttermilk Road.

This year, the Harley Davidson Factory set up shop on Buttermilk Road.

“That’s beginning to draw additional traffic off the Interstate, other retailers will notice that restaurants and other kinds of retailers and I think you will see some interest in development
along that area” says Al Spencer, from the Chamber Of Commerce Of West Alabama.

Councilman Pugh says we could hear about some new developments coming to District 6 in 2017.
