SUV SLAMS INTO JASPER RESTAURANT

A wreck on Saturday left diners in Jasper with some scenery they definitely didn’t ask for.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. when a white SUV smashed through the doors and into the dining area of Moore’s Landing Steaks and Seafood Restaurant on Highway 78 East.

People who were there said they saw a woman pull in as though she intended to park, but that it appeared she then hit the gas instead of the brakes.

Police say no one was injured.
