SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR UA SEXUAL ASSAULTS

TUSCALOOSA – Investigators arrested 29-year-old Joseph Christopher Spota after developing him as a suspect in a pair of sexual assault cases, at least one of which involved at University of Alabama student.

Spota was charged with Rape I and Kidnapping I after turning himself in at the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
