SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE

35 year old DShaun Ivory of Tuscaloosa was arrested today after the West Alabama Narcotics Unit raided a home in Cottondale earlier this afternoon.

Narcotics Unit officials found 7 ounces of Cocaine, a stolen gun, drug paraphernalia and nearly $3,000 dollars in cash after serving search warrants on a house in the 11000 block of Quartz Lane around 1 p.m. The cocaine seized has a street value of $7, 000 dollars.

Ivory is being held in the Tuscaloosa County jail on charges of 4 counts of sale on or near a school campus, 1 count of of Trafficking in Cocaine, 1 count of Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute , 1 count of Drug Paraphernalia and 1 count of Receiving Stolen Property. He is being held on over a 1 Million dollar bond.
