According to a report by Porch, around 40.8% of millennials in Tuscaloosa possess a home.

This follows a trend of low homeownership among millennials in the U.S., which is largely caused by millennials moving to smaller, less expensive cities. The COVID-19 pandemic is expected to reinforce this trend.

The current rate of millennial homeownership in the U.S. falls below that of previous generations within the same age range.
