STUDENTS GET READY TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL WITH FREE, FRESH HAIRCUTS
Some parents got a helping hand getting their kids ready for the first day of school with free haircuts.
The event was sponsored by the Anderson’s League of Leaders. The haircuts were given out at Hillcrest High School.
“I think it is a very good event for parents and for students to get to know other students and also for your child to come out on the next week to look presentable and to learn,” barber Rondarius Frazier said.
Parents say the free haircuts and styles were a great way to get their kids excited to go back to school.
“When they say it is for the kids, to help him go back to school because I know how it feels to struggle and get all the stuff you need for school,” Stephanie Wallace, a first-grade parent, said. “So I was like, ‘Yeah I am in.’”
