Stillman Outfielder Bilal Whittle is SSAC Baseball Player of the Week

Stillman Baseball outfielder Bilal Whittle earned the SSAC, “Player of the Week.” In five games, he went 9 for 13 at the plate. Whittle saved his best for Sunday’s game when he drove in four runs and blasted his first home run as a college player in a 10-4 win over Paine College.

“I didn’t realize that I had four RBI until I checked the book,” Whittle said. “I was kind of proud of myself because that is what I kind of go through throughout the week. I have certain goals throughout the week and my goal is to get at least two RBI and I got four so I am kind of proud of myself on that one. It was good for me.”
