Stillman hosts back-to-school supply drive

Mister and Miss Stillman along with The Pride of Tuscaloosa hosted a Back to School Supply Drive at the college Sunday afternoon.

School supplies were collected throughout the summer in anticipation for this event so Stillman students could give back to the community.

“It just feels good knowing that we are trying to bring everybody back to Stillman and giving the community something to come to Stillman for,” said Mister Stillman Arick Evans Jr. “It feels good knowing our mission is being heard.”

Stillman students ended up passing out 600 backpacks filled with school supplies.

In addition, the event offered free snacks plenty of fun activities for children.
