Jabaree Prewitt is a native of Tuscaloosa and a graduate of the University Of Alabama with a major in telecommunications and film.
He came to WVUA 23 in February 2015 as weekend news anchor and weekday news reporter.
He covers Alabama politics as well as Northport and Tuscaloosa City Council meetings each week.
When he’s not working, Jabaree enjoys hanging with family and taking in what West Alabama has to offer. He’s also on the board of directors for Temporary Emergency Services.
Fun fact: Jabaree is licensed to perform weddings, and had the privilege of officiating the wedding of good friend and former co-anchor Zach Tigert.
