State Departments Hosting Video Contest on Wearing Masks Against COVID

Face masks are proven to be one of the most effective methods for preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Now, the Alabama Department of Public Health, Alabama Hospital Association and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama are sponsoring a video contest so Alabamians of all ages can share why masking up is important.

A statewide panel of judges will pick the top 10 videos, and winners will be chosen through a public online voting process. The deadline for entry is Jan. 4.

Entries must be submitted by Alabama residents and should be 30 seconds or less.
