SIDEWALKS COMING TO CYPRESS CREEK ROAD IN EAST TUSCALOOSA

Back in April, WVUA 23 News told you about the dangers of Cypress Creek Road in East Tuscaloosa.

Tuesday, the Public Projects Committee will officially submit the application for the first grant.

It will be an 80-20 match.

The City of Tuscaloosa will pay $99,981 and nearly $400,000 from Federal Funds.

The money will be used to put in sidewalks on Cypress Creek Road leading up to Southview Elementary and Middle Schools.
