On Thursday people came out to Shelton State Community College for their fall preview. This night was used to highlight different technical and health service programs that they offered so individuals are able to make a decision about if any of these programs are a good fit for them.

“We have a wide variety of technical colleges here. On the Martin campus we have heating and air conditioning, machine tool technology, engineering graphics and design technology, welding, diesel mechanics, salon spa management and business and office management and then on the C.E. Fred campus we have computer science, we have automotive technology, child development, and culinary arts” Shelton State Recruiter Forest Smith said. “We’re also highlighting our health service programs here. On the Martin campus we have our nursing program. On our C.E. Fred Campus we have our health information technology and our respiratory therapy program.”

After a brief summary of the programs offered recruiters also took time to break students and their parents into groups in order to talk to specific instructors about their careers.
