Shelton State hosts health fair Tuesday

Shelton State Community College hosted its annual Health and Wellness Fair Tuesday, marking the return of a in-person health fair for the first time since 2020.

Participants got information about disease prevention, overall health, beauty, sports including dance, aerobics and martial arts and healthy cooking demonstrations.  

“We want to make sure that people are aware of all the organizations and businesses in the West Alabama community that offer health benefits, “said SSCC Business and Health and Wellness Chair Ashley McLeod. 

The college has been hosting this event since 1990. 

The Shelton State Wellness Center is open year-round and offers opportunities for students of all ages.
