SHELTON STATE HOSTING INFORMATION SESSION FOR PARENTS
By WVUA 23 Contributor Mattie Davis
Shelton State Community College is assisting in the transition to college for first year students by making it accessible for parents to talk to the faculty and staff amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school hosted a virtual information session for parents of incoming students that had an overwhelming response. They have planned for a second session on Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. taking place on Zoom.
Topics include admission, financial aid and updated methods of instruction. The discussion will end with a question and answer session.
To register for the virtual discussion visit sheltonstate.edu/event/virtual-parent-chat. Upon registration, participants will be contacted by email one to two days before the event with additional information.
