SHELTON STATE CLASS COLLECTS DONATIONS FOR TURNING POINT

Shelton State Community College students are coming together to help families in need this Christmas.

Students in Dr. Mallory’s human growth and development class are raising money and donating toys to Turning Point, a local organization helping victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.

“Anybody can find themselves in that situation,” said student Clarissa Statza. “And for Christmas we just want to help them have a good time with their families and have hope for the future.”
