Senior Bowl will feature four players from the Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide received four invitations to play in the 2023 Senior Bowl taking place in Mobile. The Senior Bowl is a post season all-star game that showcases college prospects. The game is a way for college players to get in front of scouts for the upcoming NFL draft.

Offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor Jr has accepted an invitation. He allowed one sack, eight pressures, eight quarterback hits and committed one penalty this season. He earned offensive player of the week honors from twice.

Defensive lineman DJ Dale accepted his invitation. Dale is a three-year starter, with 16 stops for the season, 3.5 tackles for loss,  and 2.5 sacks for the season.

Defensive lineman Byron Young accepted his invitation as well. The Mississippi native started 12 games this year. The interior powerhouse totaled for 46 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks during the season. He won the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his efforts in the game playing against Ole Miss.

Tight end Cameron Latu was also awarded an invitation. The former defensive lineman turned tight end had 25 receptions for the season totaling 323 yards. He also had three touchdowns. He only started 10 games due to an injury.

The Senior Bowl takes place February 4th, 2023 at the Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile.
