By WVUA 23 Digital Reporter Kyrsten Eller
Secret Meals For Hungry Children, Alabama Credit Union’s anti-childhood hunger initiative, is hosting a one-time “Secret Menu For Secret Meals” charity event this Sunday, Nov. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Session Cocktails in Tuscaloosa.
This event is a spirited effort to overcome child food insecurity in the state of Alabama.
It will feature a variety of exclusive cocktails along with opportunities to participate in a charity drawing with prizes from local businesses.
“In Alabama, 1 in 5 children currently face food insecurity,” said University of Alabama Secret Meals Project Leader Will Bradley. “This event is a great opportunity to directly support kids here in West Alabama experiencing hunger.”
If you are interested in attending the event, tickets are available to pre-order for $20 through Venmo @SecretMenuSecretMeals.
The cost will include one free Secret Menu drink and an entry into the charity drawing. Tickets will also be available to purchase at the door.
Session is located at 2221 University Blvd. in downtown Tuscaloosa
