SCOTT COCHRAN FIRES UP 5K
He’s perhaps the most well known strength coach in America. Saturday, the University of Alabama’s Scott Cochran used his battle cry to fire up participants at a 5K Run for cystic fibrosis.
It’s called the “Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah 5k” to benefit the Thomas Plott Foundation, named for the Cochran’s family friend and the Plott family’s 7-year-old son, Thomas, who was diagnosed with cystic fIbrosis when he was just 10 weeks old.
This is the second annual event involving Cochran that raises money for cystic fibrosis research. Terry Saban with the Nick’s Kids Foundation was also on hand as title sponsor of the event.
