SABAN WILL BE JOINED BY TAGOVAILOA, JEUDY AND MOSES AT SEC MEDIA DAYS
Tua Tagovailoa, Jerry Jeudy and Dylan Moses will be the three Alabama players to accompany coach Nick Saban at SEC Media Days next week in Hoover.
This will mark the first time since 2013 that the Crimson Tide have brought a quarterback to SEC Media Days.
Saban and Alabama’s three players are slotted to speak with the media on Wednesday, July 17, a day they share with Arkansas, Mississippi State and South Carolina.
Considered by many to be the Heisman favorite, Tagovailoa is coming off a strong sophomore campaign in which he threw for 3,966 yards and 43 touchdowns while maintaining a 199.4 passer rating. However, Tagoailova is looking to bounce back after a disappointing performance in Alabama’s national championship game loss to Clemson.
Jerry Jeudy took home the Biletnikoff Award (given to the best wide receiver in the country) last season after hauling in 68 receptions for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jeudy will be the leader of a loaded receiving corps this upcoming season.
The middle linebacker position at Alabama has been a strength under Saban and that tradition should continue with Dylan Moses. The junior linebacker was one of the top prospects in his recruiting class and played significant minutes as a freshman due to injuries to players in front of him. As a sophomore, he locked down a starting spot and solidified himself as an elite defensive player, making 86 total tackles, 3.5 sacks and forcing a fumble.
