ROLL TIDE, RICKY!

Good news for local kindergartner, Ricky Prewitt!
He’s the six-year-old boy who was struck by a car earlier this week while boarding the school bus.
WVUA 23’s Lynn Brooks and Chelsea Barton paid him a visit to make a special delivery!
Fortunately, Ricky did not sustain any major injuries during the accident Wednesday morning.
He was up walking and talking this afternoon when he found out he won’t be watching this weekend’s Alabama football game on television, but from inside Bryant Denny Stadium.
Along with the two tickets to the first home game against Middle Tennessee, our Lynn Brooks also gave Ricky an Alabama football, a helmet, and some Bama décor.
And what’s a trip to a football game without a little spending money for snacks and souvenirs?
Ricky thinks this experience will help turn his week around!
Authorities are still looking for the driver of the black Honda Accord that struck Ricky Wednesday morning around 7:40 AM on the 4700 Block of 1st Street East.
If you have any information on this case you are asked to contact Tuscaloosa Police Department at
