RESIDENTS GATHER AT ANIMAL ABUSE RALLY

A video that was shot locally and was posted online, showing a cat being beaten with a belt, has attracted a lot of attention nation wide, and is causing some very strong reaction.

Dozens gathered in protest of a video that went viral on November 2nd that shows a man holding a cat by the neck and hitting it several times. Since then, many people across the country have expressed strong opinions on Alabama’s current animal cruelty laws.
