Remembering Snoop
A Moundville family is mourning the loss of one their own, James “Snoop” Duncan.
He’s the man who tragically drowned in Destin, Florida on Monday.
It’s of course a time of mourning for the loved ones of James Duncan, but his family welcomed us into their home to learn more about the young man whom they say was always smiling.
Duncan was the executive chef at Five Bar Tuscaloosa.
He had temporarily moved to the Destin area to work at a sister restaurant for the summer.
His mother Lenora Lee says she watched her son grow from a little boy who was always watching the cooking channels, to a driven young man with a dream of owning his own restaurant.
Through the tragedy of losing a child, Lee tells WVUA she’s found comfort in seeing how many lives Snoop impacted.
He leaves behind two young children: Jaydon (6 years old) and Jania (4 years old).
