REMEMBERING DR. ERIC HUGHES

The 37- year-old orthodontist was found in four feet of water near his home on Mt. Laurel Drive in Northport. His wife told authorities her husband had cut the grass then gone into the lake to cool off. Those close to Dr. Hughes are still in shock that he is gone.

Hughes has owned Tuscaloosa Orthodontics on Jack Warner Parkway for nearly six years. His practice manager Jeana Rutledge tells WVUA23  several local dentists have stepped up offering to help during this time of need.
If you’re a patient with an appointment and Tuscaloosa Orthodontics and have not heard from the staff there, you’re appointment has not been changed.
Our thoughts go out to the loved ones Dr. Hughes leaves behind.
