REMEMBERING BRIAN POELLNITZ — APR OPERATIONS MANAGER
WVUA 23 is mourning the loss of one of its own this week.
Alabama Public Radio Operations Manager Brian Poellnitz passed away early Thursday morning. He was 43 years old.
Brian joined APR in 2004 as “All Things Considered” host and production coordinator. He later became operations manager.
He is survived by his parents and daughter, and is sorely missed by his fellow co-workers and friends here at the University of Alabama’s Digital Media Center.
