RAMA JAMA’S TEAMS UP WITH SHERIFF’S DEPUTY ASSOCIATION TO FEED DCH EMPLOYEES

The nonprofit, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputy Association, partnered with Rama Jama’s to feed DCH employees.

The random act of kindness was to show their appreciation during this hectic time.

“The community shows a great support to law enforcement and lots of those that are on the front lines,” Tuscaloosa County sheriff’s deputy Jessica McDaniel said. “This is just a way for us to show the appreciation that we have the best way that we know to do.”

Rama Jama’s founder Gary Lewis said it is those who are often overlooked who need help and encouragement the most during this tumultuous time.

“We’re going to feed the people that are often overlooked and left behind during all of this virus stuff going on,” Rama Jama’s founder Gary Lewis said. “Those would be like the people that are in janitorial and other things that do the work behind the scenes but don’t get very much credit. They are there just like the rest of the folks are and we are going to take care of them.”
