POLICE TAKE THE POT IN TUSCALOOSA GAMBLING RAID

TUSCALOOSA–Tuscaloosa Police busted a “drive-thru” gambling operation on Wednesday night. Two men were arrested and another has a warrant out for his arrest..

Police said the department’s Code Enforcement Division and the West Alabama Narcotics and Crime Suppression Unit worked together executing a search warrant in the 1700 block of East Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Investigators discovered betting slips and other evidence of illegal gambling in the residence, along with $2367 in cash.

Dondrick Knight, 38, and Kerry Knight, 35, both of Tuscaloosa, were arrested on charges of promoting gambling. Demetrich Curry, 35, of Cottondale is wanted on a charge of promoting gambling.
