POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT

TUSCALOOSA – Police are searching for a white Chevrolet Tahoe after a man was hit in the head with a gun and robbed.

It happened around 2:15 a.m. Thursday on the 2200 block of Greensboro Avenue.

According to the victim, the suspect approached him while saying “give it up” and then hit him in the head with a handgun. While he was on the ground, the suspect went through the victims pockets and took his wallet and cellular phone.

The victim’s injuries were minor and he refused treatment at the scene.

The victim did not see the suspects, but he did observe a white Chevrolet Tahoe leaving the area.
