POLICE RECOVER 10,000 XANAX PILLS

The West Alabama Narcotics Task Force says it’s recovered more than 10,000 Xanax pills after a one-month investigation.

Police said they arrested Ryan Patrick Jones, 22, of Tuscaloosa around 8 p.m. in the 500 block of Meador Drive Wednesday.

There, agents said they recovered more than 10,000 Xanax pills and 141 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of more than $75,000.

Jones was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and of selling drugs near a school.
