Tuscaloosa Police say they’re looking for those responsible for a robbery that happened near the University of Alabama campus early Wednesday morning.

Police said it happened in the 1200 block of 10th Avenue, just a few blocks from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The victim reported that while he was walking home around 2:30 a.m., a maroon vehicle with three occupants approached him. One individual got out and struck him, demanding his property. The victim said he threw his backpacks and ran.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described as:

  • Black man, around 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 160 pounds in his early 20s with a dark complexion and short dreadlocks.
  • Black man, around 6 feet tall, no other information
  • Black woman, no other information

Tuscaloosa Police are investigating the incident.
