POLICE CHASE ENDS IN CAR CRASH, THREE ARRESTED
Three West Alabama residents are in jail following a police chase that ended in a car crash.
Woodstock Police Chief Len Price said police arrested James Forrest Wilson, 43, and Jamie Rutland Jr., 46, early Saturday following a Friday robbery at First United Security Bank on Alabama Highway 216. Both are being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
Rutland’s fiance, Tina Maddox Mullinex, is in the Bibb County Jail on an unrelated theft charge from earlier this year.
Price said all three were riding in a vehicle stolen by Rutland, who is facing first-degree robbery charges. Mullinex and Rutland have not been connected to the bank robbery, Price said.
