Homicide investigators say they’ve arrested three men in relation to the shooting death of Gregorie Somerville Monday at Aspen Village Apartments.

When officers arrived, they said they discovered the body of Somerville, 25, lying partially outside the driver’s side door of his girlfriends car.

Police said a single .40 caliber shell casing was found near the vehicle, and Somerville appeared to have been shot.

After several hours of investigation and a called-in tip, investigators say they learned Somerville was lured to the apartment under the pretense of selling some individuals marijuana, but that when Somerville arrived, he was shot and killed.

Police said the suspects then took Somerville’s shorts, his cellphone and the marijuana.

Investigators said they have arrested Marquell Underwood, 17, Trevoris Sheppard, 22, and Samuel Sanders, 16, and all three have been charged with capital murder.
