Pet of the Week, Sept. 7, 2021: Meet Noodle

Noodle 1

By WVUA Digital Reporter Anneliese Taggart

This pretty lady available for adoption from the Humane Society of West Alabama is Noodle!

Noodle was found by a hospital, abandoned and very sick. She had a terrible stomach bug that took many rounds of medicine to fix up, but now she’s happy, healthy and ready for a forever home!

She is a sweet little thing who enjoys playing with the other kittens at the shelter. She enjoys pets, being held, and was even fostered in a home with a large dog. What more could you ask for?

Noodle tested negative for FIV and FeLV and is current on her vaccinations. She is scheduled to be spayed in mid-September, at which point she will also receive her final vaccinations (including rabies) and be microchipped.

The adoption fee is $75 to help cover some of our veterinary costs. Vet records are provided to adopters.

Due to being underage for a spay/neuter surgery, out-of-town adopters require an additional (refundable) spay/neuter deposit of $100 to ensure that all adopted pets to be fixed by age of maturity. For local adopters, the HSWA covers the spay, final vaccinations, and the microchip without the deposit.
