Pet of the Week, Sept. 28, 2020: Meet Mao

Mao 1

By WVUA 23 Shanaya Daughtrey

TUSCALOOSA, AL- The 4-year-old tabby cat Mao was returned to Humane Society West Alabama when her owners moved away.

According to HSWA staff, Mao loves human attention.

She will chirp at you just to get you to saunter across the room to caress her.

In addition to Mao’s affectionate overtures, the staff professes that she enjoys putting her paws on the chest of her owner to provide extra good nuzzles.

She enjoys standing up on her cat tree and the staff suggests that she would do best as an only pet in a home.

Mao is scared of dogs and aslo has a past history of not interacting well with other cats.

According to staff,  Mao would be a wonderful companion for someone interested in showering love upon a little princess of a cat.

Moreover, Mao is up-to-date on vaccinations.

She tested negative for FIV, Feline Leukemia and she is also spayed.
