Pet of the Week, Sept. 14, 2021: Meet Issie and Jordan

Pet Of The Week

Issie and Jordan are sisters who love each other as much as they’ll love you. They’re available for adoption as a pair or separate from the Humane Society of West Alabama.

They’re both solid black with the tiniest white spot on the tummy, and nearly impossible to tell apart. But that just means you can adopt both and swear you only have one cat.

They’ve been nicknamed IssieJo, and adore toys and purring up a storm in laps.

Both are negative for feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus.

Because they’re not yet old enough to be spayed, anyone adopting either cat from out of town must pay a $100 refundable deposit to ensure all adopted pets are spayed or neutered. The Humane Society of West Alabama covers the cost of spaying, final vaccinations and microchipping, and local adopters do not have to pay the refundable deposit. Adoption fees are $75 per cat, which funds vet care and other expenses for animals in the organization’s care.

If you’re interested in adopting from HSWA, you can fill out an adoption form online.
