Pet of the week, Oct. 26, 2021: Meet Sipsey

By WVUA Digital Reporter Anneliese Taggart
This sweetie is Sipsey.

Sipsey comes to the Humane Society of West Alabama with her three brothers (Zion, Archer, and Pickens). Born at the beginning of June, Sipsey is right in that sweet spot of having plenty of playful baby energy as a kitten, but she also seems to have a mellow side too.

You can usually find Sipsey in one of three places: curled up with one of her kitten buddies or up on a cat tree or a shelf. She loves to climb (she climbs a little higher than we would like her to at her age!) and then sit there and observe the chaos around her. Having three brothers in her litter probably taught her just to remove herself from the madness when it becomes too much!

Sipsey tested negative for FIV and FeLV, she is spayed, current on her vaccinations. and she is microchipped. The adoption fee is $75 to help cover vet expenses.

If you are interested in adopting from the HSWA, please check out their adoption application right here.
