Pet of the Week, June 7, 2022: Meet Jean

Jean is a beautiful girl who’s gone from wanting nothing to do with anyone to meowing for attention and settling down in any friendly nap for some well-deserved cuddle time.

She’s available for adoption from the Humane Society of West Alabama, where she was found outside among the feral cat colony. When she was trapped for a spay, rescuers found she was likely dumped outside the shelter.

Now that she’s found a safe space, she’s definitely come out of her shell. She adores being up high, and while she must be an indoor-only cat, Jean would likely love having a screened-in porch where she can hang out as she pleases.

Jean is spayed, fully vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Her adoption fee is $75, and adopters will be provided vet records.
