Pet of the Week, July 5, 2022: Meet Winnie

Pet Of The Week Winnie

Winnie is a recently retired mom who is looking to be pampered and treated like a princess when she finds her forever home with the help of the Humane Society of West Alabama.

Found when she was heavily pregnant, Winnie gave birth to six beautiful babies days after she was found. Her babies are also available for adoption.

Winnie is about a year old, and she’s the kind of cat who will be your shadow. She’ll follow you around while you do your chores or get ready for work and will meet you at the door after work (or will be a constant presence if you work from home). She just wants attention and love at all times.

Being the attention hog that she is, she can get a little sassy with other cats when she feels they are stealing her limelight. But she was fostered in a home with dogs and did well with them.

Winnie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and vet records are provided to adopters.

HSWA’s adoption fee is $75. You can learn more about the adoption process right here.
