Pet of the Week, Jan. 25, 2022: Meet Blaze

Pet Of The Week Blaze

Blaze is a gentle boy who is all dressed up in his tuxedo and looking for somewhere to go! Hopefully, that somewhere is a new forever home, as Blaze is available for adoption from the Humane Society of West Alabama.

He was found hanging out on someone’s porch in bad condition, but after a few days at the vet he’s back in great condition. This boy is pretty shy when you first meet him, but he’s kind and gentle with everybody — he even enjoys belly rubs.

Blaze is vaccinated and microchipped and has been tested for FIV and FeLV, and he is neutered. His adoption fee is $75, and that helps cover vet expenses animals incur while they’re at HSWA.

If you’re interested in adopting Blaze or any of the other animals available at the Humane Society of West Alabama, you can read more about the adoption process right here.

Pet of the Week sponsor Tuscaloosa Toyota is placing bins around their dealership so anyone who’s interested in donating to HSWA can stop by and drop off dog or cat food or supplies. For a list of items HSWA needs, click here for their Amazon Wish List.
