Tot is a precious boy in need of a loving home.

This guy is about a year old male pit bull/Lab mix with a gorgeous reddish-brown brindle and white coat and a short tail. Right now he weighs 30 pounds, but he’ll be around 35 or 40 pounds once he’s done growing.

His foster home has this to say about Tot:

“He’s super super calm. I’ve had him for five days now and he hasn’t made a single noise, he doesn’t bark or whine. He is young so he definitely has energy, but he’s more than happy to just cuddle or entertain himself with his toys. I’ve owned and fostered several dogs in the past and he’s definitely the lowest maintenance god I’ve ever had. And he loves literally everyone he meets, both dogs and people! He’s also completely house trained!”

Tot was pulled from Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, where he’d been picked up as a stray by Animal Control.

He’s a happy-go-lucky guy with lots of playful puppy energy, so he needs training and structure to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. He loves to run and play, and is a big stuffed toy lover.

Tot is quite the intelligent dog, and he’ll make a great walking or running partner.

At his age, he may be a bit too energetic for apartment living, and requires a fenced-in yard so he can get his energy out. But Tot loves his people too much to be an outside-only dog.

He gets along well with other dogs and would probably love a play buddy or children older than 12.
