PELHAM MAN’S BODY FOUND IN LAKE

PELHAM, Ala. (AP) – The body of a Pelham man who is believed to have gone fishing has been recovered.

The body of 21-year-old John Sisbarro was recovered on Wednesday night from the private lake of the Oaklyn Hills subdivision he lived in.

Pelham Fire Department spokesman Lt. Ricky King says Sisbarro had been reported missing after his fishing kayak was found floating unattended in the water. His truck was spotted nearby, with the keys still inside the vehicle.

Sisbarro was not wearing a life-preserver when he was found by divers around 8 p.m., about five hours after a neighbor says he saw Sisbarro fishing. The coroner’s office said an autopsy was scheduled to be conducted on Thursday.
