PEDESTRIAN KILLED ON INTERSTATE 20-59

A woman was killed crossing Interstate 20-59 around 9 p.m. Monday night near the Arkadelphia Road exit.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 22-year-old Lindsey Hope Morgan.

Authorities said Morgan was hit by multiple cars while standing in the travel lanes of the intersection and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Any witnesses are asked to call the Jefferson County West Precinct.
