Pastors, volunteers and community members came together at Crescent East Apartments Wednesday for the Pastors Reaching Out PRO Team family revival event.
The nightly service features speakers devoting their focus toward young residents, urging them to do what is right.
Pastors Reaching Out PRO Team President Schmitt Moore said the organization uses faith to unite others.
“We’re trying to encourage children to be responsible to parents and for the parents to be responsible to children,” Moore said.
Pastors Reaching Out PRO Team Executive Secretary Regina Peoples said they’re spreading awareness and looking for more people to join in on the effort.
“We’ve been going in all of the different housing communities, reaching out to the housing community residents, letting them know that God loves them and he is concerned about them, and tonight we are revisiting all those areas,” Peoples said.
The PRO Team will be visiting several areas in Tuscaloosa this week, including Branscomb on Oct. 28, Rosedale on Oct. 29 and Hay Court on Oct. 31. Each event begins at 6 p.m.
