“PALEN” SEEKS HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

TUSCALOOSA – Palen, an eight month old terrier mix, needs a home for the holidays.

Palen has her big brown eyes that may tempt you to take her home. She plays well with other dogs and is good with children.

Nikki Hoggle works at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter and believes that Palen has a clean bill of health.

“She’s been spayed”, Hoggle said. “She’s spayed the first part of the month. She’s had her heart worm test, rabies, she’s ready to go”.

Since she is still a puppy, Palen is expected to get a little bigger, but not by much. Although she’s young, she is very calm and well-behaved.

“She’s very playful. Loves to be loved on and petted,” Hoggle said.

Her sweet personality makes her a great addition for a family that’s looking for a new pet.

“She does jump a little bit, so I would say maybe a family with older children probably about eight to ten years old,” said Hoggle.

So, if you’re looking for a loving and loyal companion, consider adding Palen to your family.

The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter will be holding their “Home for the Holidays” event on December 12th. All adoption fees for dogs, including Palen, will be half-off. If you would like to adopt Palen, or any other dogs, please call the Tuscaloosa Metro Shelter at (205)752-9101.
