The goal? Helping displaced mine and steel workers and their families find new careers.

The workshops topics include resume preparation, interview skills, soft skills and dressing for success. Participants will receive a certificate of participation that they can present to potential employers.

Some participating companies are Bama Dining, BF Goodrich, Core Focus, DCH Health System, Mercedes-Benz, McAbee Construction, Alabama Power, Fayette Fabrication and more.

Participating companies are planning on filling a range of open positions at the job fair.
