ONE DEAD, TWO INJURED IN HIGHWAY 82 COLLISION

Hueytown resident Jacob Tyler Biggers was killed Monday evening in a two vehicle collision that injured two others, according to Senior State Trooper Reginal King.

Biggers, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2015 Suzuki motorcycle hit a 2013 Toyota Prius. Dwight Lyons, 68, was the driver of the Prius, who along with a passenger was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on U.S. 82, one mile west of Tuscaloosa. Biggers had been driving 115 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone, as observed by an Alabama State Trooper.
