ONE DEAD AFTER MORNING TUSCALOOSA WRECK

Tuscaloosa Police are investigating after a 63-year-old woman involved in a single-vehicle accident this morning died.

The wreck happened just before 11 a.m. on 25th Avenue East near Tamaha Trace. When officers arrived they found the driver, identified as Rose Lee Richardson, unresponsive.

Witnesses told police Richardson’s vehicle was traveling southbound when it veered sharply to the left, left the road and struck a tree. Richardson was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
