ONE DEAD AFTER HEAD-ON CAR COLLISION
A Walker County man is dead after a head-on collision this morning.
The crash happened at 7:25 a.m. on Pineywoods-Sipsey Road, four miles north of Sipsey.
Curtis Conley Cole, 51, of Empire was killed when the 1999 Ford F350, in which he was a passenger, collided with a 2015 Dodge Ram.
Cole was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford, Raymond Jerome Johnson, 53, of Double Springs, and the driver of the Dodge Ram, Kevin M. Garner, 43, of Clyde, Ohio, were both airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
