OK TIRE STORES IN TUSCALOOSA AND FAYETTE SOLD

George dockery, was owner of OK Tire Stores at four locations in West Alabama for nearly 40 years.

Friday, Dockery struck a deal with Tire Engineers and sold the business.

There are OK Tire Store locations, Mcfarland Boulevard, Northport, Fayette and Stillman Boulevard in Westend.

Its the same location raided back in August after numerous complaints of illegal activity at the business.

Hubert Scarbrough, Manager at the Westend location was arrested and charged with Trafficking Marijuana.

Scarbrough is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.

Tire Engineers started in 1979.

It has grown to over 200 Express Oil Change Stores and over 60 Tire Stores.

Dockery says the sale will affect about 25 workers total at all locations.

“They’re keeping all of our workers who are here, which was number one on my list” says Dockery.
